About

Hi there, here’s a bit about me! I’m a reflective, a thinker, and an introvert.  I’m creative, I love photography and baking, walking and being outdoors, and enjoy a good cup of tea!

I’ve realised that one of the character traits that often defined me in a negative way throughout life, is in fact my superpower – I’m quiet, and people who I work with will say that I bring a calming presence. I’m a good listener and will ask powerful questions to encourage you to think things through, whether that’s as an individual or a group.  I don’t provide the answers, but I do provide a gentle, nurturing space for you to think through the questions and the answers, digging deep within yourself.

I have trained as a life coach and a spiritual director and served churches and communities as youth worker and minister. I have trained and supported people in education and ministry situations, and have worked as an educator in different settings. I’ve recently completed a doctorate, using the creative qualitative approach of visual ethnography to give voice to young people on their experiences of communion worship in their churches. And I’m an accredited Baptist minister.

I work in a freelance capacity, offering one to one support in a variety of ways – coaching, spiritual direction, and mentoring.  And I’m open to work with groups, church or community, in various ways too.  I have facilitated retreat days, and walk and talk sessions for leaders, and I have worked with churches facing transition, providing group coaching sessions and facilitating conversations around who they are, where God is, and what steps they might want to take as they move forward. I facilitate participatory photography workshops for community groups (a skill honed through my research).

I am an EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) Accredited Coach/Mentor at Practitioner level and trained in Spiritual Direction (Liverpool Anglican Network).  In 2023 I completed my Doctorate in Theology, looking at young people’s experiences of communion in Baptist churches.
